I think one of the commenters of the video said it best: holy fucking awesome.

History...fun?

Feb. 23, 2010

We started giving our persuasive speeches today, but I don’t give mine until Thursday. I was freaking out last night because I thought I had forgotten to write my speech, but it was all for naught! ;D

I think I learned more about European history in the 1500s in the hour and a half of history class today than I have about all of history throughout all of my schooling prior to this. Seriously, Dr. Betty is an awesome teacher. He said he was putting together a puzzle of sorts, and I can see it all coming together. I never would have thought I’d find history interesting…never!

ICC was fun, but again, we failed at Festergut. But we did get a whole lot more done afterwards, which was neat.

...Followed by a typical Monday

LAN hardware was a snooze fest as usual.

Was supposed to go to Stingers with Jeff but he canceled, so I was gonna go alone…but decided it would be best if I didn’t. I didn’t wanna be a fatty by myself. :(

Attempted the 25-man ICC that I missed last week since a few people were no-shows. We failed hardcore. Gonna try again tomorrow night from scratch, so that’s good.

Imogen Heap - The Shepherdess

This is kind of why I love her…and she sang this with a bad throat, too!

The Shepherdess was improvised live in front of a sold out audience at Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London on 19th February 2010.

All proceeds from sales of this track will be going to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.

Typical Sunday

Nothing new.

Sleepy~

Feb. 20, 2010

So I got to my internship at 8:30, and waited…and waited…and finally, it was almost 9:00 and still nobody had shown up. I called my mom, and she told me to wait until 9:15, and if no one had shown up by then, I should leave a note and go to the Commissary. I waited fifteen minutes, and finally someone showed up to unlock the doors for me. I spent three hours doing absolutely nothing, but hey, at least I was getting paid to surf the internet, right?

I dunno what’s gotten into melately, but these past few Saturdays I’ve had no motivation to work whatsoever, and today was no exception. I ended up doing pretty well, but didn’t make nearly as much money as I would’ve had I tried.

After work, I was supposed to chill with Jeff, Trey and Montishia, but we all ended up taking a long nap instead. We all woke up around 11:00 and had a fun escapade in the middle of the night doing simple, random things. :)

Pervy old men

Feb. 19, 2010

After a surprisingly entertaining time at work, Seth picked me and Jeff up from my house and we headed to the mall to meet up with Aaron, Jordan and Leo. Then we headed over to Barnes & Noble where I picked up a copy of What Would Google Do? by Jeff Jarvis, whom I’m a big fan of.

Seth and I decided to split up and get coffee while everyone else grabbed some pizza, and on our way to Seth’s car, we noticed an older man sitting in the corner, in front of the huge window, on his netbook, using the free Wi-Fi to look at…porn. Porn! After Seth and I got our epic lulz, being the creeper I am, I took a picture of him, then knocked on the window before running around the corner. Seth’s car was on the other side of the building, so we turned around and walked past the window again, only to find him still looking up porn! Ugh, pervy old men, I swear…

We got to Starbucks and I got a white chocolate mocha frappuccino, which kinda tasted like really good milk mixed with coffee, but it wasn’t anything special. We met up with everyone at Jordaareo’s house and spent the rest of the night watching trailers for horrible movies/games and playing The Da Vinci Code, which is based on a movie, which in turn is based on a book. Just imagine if the game had a soundtrack…sheesh.

On the way home, we decided it would be fun to sing songs as deep as we could, which made for some interesting pictures.

More sick

Feb. 18, 2010

I got to school only to find that Mrs. Jones was sick, so chilled in my car until history, which turned out to be quite interesting. Dr. Betty’s a really good professor.

Otherwise, I had pretty much a repeat of Tuesday.
